I am a Harvard and NYU-trained psychiatrist in New York City who treats patients from adolescence through all stages of adulthood. I have special interests in mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, weight and body image issues, relationship issues, sexual dysfunction, and sleep disorders.  I also have expertise in providing perinatal mental health to expectant and new mothers, as well as women hoping to conceive.

In my practice I see patients for both psychopharmacology and/or psychotherapy with emphasis on supportive, dynamic, interpersonal, and cognitive behavioral modalities.  I offer complimentary telephone consultations, and perform thorough initial evaluations to determine the best combination of treatment for you.

In addition to private practice, I have conducted clinical research on a variety of psychiatric illnesses including depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and anxiety disorders.  Before entering full-time private practice, I served as Adjunct Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Lenox Hill Hospital where I treated patients and participated in the teaching and training of medical students and residents.
